Enamel Light Switch Plates and Sockets...
   In enameling, ground glass is applied by hand to a metal backing.  The piece is then fired in a kiln at 1200-1300 degrees Fahrenheit for about four or five minutes.  The glass melts, fuses to the backing and acquires a fine, glossy finish.  Enameling has been performed for thousands of years by many cultures.
Adrienne Blum Enamels uses many of the same hand methods that been used since antiquity.
All of her work is of her own designs.  The "average" wait time is about 2-4 weeks, unless in stock,
 please keep in mind that these switchplates are handmade and in most cases, made to order.
